Bee's Fall in a Pitcher's Duel
It was a tough day for the Bees who fell 7-0 to the Libertyville Wildcats. Henry Stried took a 1-hitter into the 5th taking the loss for the Bees. The Wildcats broke a scoreless tie in the 5th with a 2-run single. Stried finished his day on the mound scattering 3 hits over 5 innings, striking out 8. The Zee-Bees couldn't get the bats going in the plate as the Wildcats threw a combined perfect game. The Bees return to action next week against the Waukegan Bulldogs.
