6 Selected DL and 6 Selected OL will compete in the lineman challenge at Columbine Columbine- Ray Barron Hog Olympics July 12, 2024 Time: 10:00 AM Place: Columbine high school Who: Team of 6 linemen (offense or defense) 5 compete in each event- How: Teams will be place into pools and compete against their pool to get to the final event in which you will compete against teams from other pools for final placing Events 185 bench press: each athlete will bench 185 as many times as is possible using strict power lifting rules for count. All five results will be tabulated to give you your team number. Weeble Relay: Relay run through weebles by all five linemen for time. Five Man Sled Push: Five linemen will start engaged to the sled and will push it for 15 yards. This is a timed event. Tire flip relay: in relay fashion each athlete will flip a tractor tire 15 yards with the next athlete starting when the tire breaks the line. This will be done in relay fashion for time. Tug of war: You will compete against the other teams in your pool for placing purpose. Final event is the Truck Push: You will be pushing a F-250 pickup truck 75 yards on a slight incline with the team you are competing against in the back of the truck. Awards will be given for 1 st and 2 nd place for each division.
