Coach's Corner-Leavenworth
Leavenworth- On a cold night to play soccer our girls fought but fell short to Leavenworth High School. This was a game closer than the scoreline indicated, where the girls took shots, defended well and moved the ball around the field. Leavenworth came out fast and physical, but our girls matched their physicality and really battled hard. We kept the score even 0-0 at halftime. The second half we had about a 10 minute period that Leavenworth was able to catch up out of position but we cleaned it up quickly and went back on the attack.
