Bears advance to Regional Final!
Your Lady Bears pulled off a huge upset in the Regional Semifinal over top seeded Anthony Wayne with a final score of 55-50! The bears ended the first quarter down 10-11 but entered halftime down by 10. Maddie Lepley’s steal and bucket at the end of the third quarter cut the AW lead to 4 points and sparked a huge second half comeback for Jackson. The bears went on to outscore AW 19-10 in the fourth quarter. Ashley Helle drew a charge on AW’s miss basketball candidate with 45 seconds remaining to regain possession up 50-48. Megan and Maddie then sealed the game at the line!!!
