Ionia vs Lakewood and East Lansing

Ionia Varsity Wrestling program traveled to East Lansing High school to wrestle in a quad vs Lakewood and East Lansing. Ionia lost our dual vs Lakewood 21-55. Then came back with a dual win over East Lansing 42-35. Wrestlers going 2-0 on the night were Ricky Charon, Chad Campbell, and Hunter Barker. Also getting a win on the night were wrestlers Levi Scheid, Carter Castillo, Landen Steffen, Luis Lopez, Sarah Schafer, and Drake Wittenbach. Ionia is now 5-4 on the season and 1-1 in the conference. Your Bulldogs will be back on the mat Friday at St. Louis HS for a Team tournament wrestling starts at 5pm.
