Wellington 2023 Race Recap

It was a beautiful morning for Goddard Cross Country as we participated in our second meet of the season! Wellington is a much different course with more inclines and hills in comparison to ClearWater. Going into this meet we wanted to improve on our times last week in ClearWater and compete at a high level as a team. Today we improved, were extremely competitive, and ran some exceptional race times! This was very impressive for our team as today's course was much more difficult! Improvements will continue to be made with the Lions wanting to run their best races at the end of the season. If you did not improve upon your race time today remember so many different factors go into running a good race and sometimes it is just not our day. There will be plenty of opportunities as our season progresses! The Lions will have a quick turnaround as our next race will be Thursday in Buhler! Race itinerary will be coming out soon.
