Vanden Vikings Varsity stole the lead late in the game in a 9-7 victory over Fairfield Falcons Varsity on Friday. With one out in the top of the eighth Cody Buckley singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs. In the top of the eighth JoJo Torres was hit by a pitch and would later advance to 2nd after a wild pitch. Austin Hammerschmidt delivered an RBI single.
