UT and MP Little League will be joining together for a Little League parade on Friday evening this year. We will meet down town Mt. Pleasant and walk from there to Pickens Field. In the past the teams were escorted by MP city police and fire department. Family and friends are encouraged to attended and either stand along the streets between downtown and Island park entrance or wait at Pickens field for the kids. Parking could get pretty tight at Pickens field with the amount of people that will be attending. Island park could be a better option for parking. We would like all players to be in full uniform minus cleats. UT will also have an opening day celebration on Saturday at 11 AM on Sacco field right before our game. We will say the Little League pledge and have the playing of our National Anthem. Followed by the opening pitch from former League President Jim MacLean. Our game will immediately follow.
