Hotel - Hampton Inn Las Vegas/Summerlin TOURNAMENT FORMAT The top six (6) placers in each weight class from the Southern League tournament and the top six (6) placers in each weight class from the Northern League tournament advance to the 12-wrestler state championship bracket. Each bracket is scored through eight places. The Nos. 1 and 2 seeds from each league tournament receive a first-round bye. The first round of the championship will not be team scored. Losers in the first round move into the consolation half. The championship portion of each bracket is single-elimination. The consolation part of the bracket wrestles to a third-place match. The official brackets will be published by NIAA personnel per NIAA wrestling policy manual guidelines.
