Selected cadets spend Three (3) days with other NJROTC Cadets from Arizona and Southern California learning to sail small boats. Students are berthed on base in San Diego and complete classroom and hands on instructions at Fiddlers Cove, San Diego California. Students who complete the course earn a small boat sailing certification from US Sailing or US Naval Sailing Association, a sail pin and tons of life skills and experiences.
