We have been invited to hold large American flags for the 9/11 parade this coming Saturday in downtown Gaylord. Several football players will be participating and I wanted to make sure you had the opportunity to do so as well. ‼️THIS IS NOT MANDATORY This is a great way to be a face in our community and pay our respects to those who lost their lives or the lives of loved ones in the 9/11 attacks. Below you'll find the schedule of events for 9-11 downtown Gaylord. Event schedule:      -11:00-3:00 Working Class Car Show @ Jim Wernig Chevrolet (free event, public welcome)       -3:30 Parade line up @ S. Illinois St., 200 Flags available for public to carry in parade.        -4:00 First responders/public march to pavilion for memorial service remembering those who lost their lives on 9-11      -5:00 end memorial service (free event, public welcome      -5:00-11:00 FREEDOM FEST!!

20 year remembrance parade and ceremony

20 year remembrance parade and ceremony for 9/11 in downtown Gaylord today was humbling. Our athletes who attended listened to 4 minutes of recordings during the ceremony of families leaving messages for one another saying goodbye before their planes crashed or before the towers collapsed. We heard First responders communicating of the travesty that was happening. It’s excruciating to hear.
