The JSerra Girls Basketball team put forth a dominant opening statement in the CIF-SS Division 3A playoffs with a 56-21 road win over Desert Christian Academy on Thursday night.
JSerra (19-9) was in command throughout, building a 22-point lead at the end of the 1st quarter.
The Lions held the Knights to only four points scored in the first half.
Freshman Rosie Santos recorded a double-double, scoring 19 points and adding 11 steals.
Freshman Addie Nolan added 10 points, seven steals, and five rebounds.
Freshman Eden Hoff also scored 10 points for JSerra.
The Lions will be on the road Saturday night to face Huntington Beach in the second round.
