Cross Country Program (2024 - 2025)

It was an impressive season debut for JSerra sophomore Reese Holley, who claimed the individual victory at the Trinity League Preview Meet on Friday morning at Central Park in Huntington Beach. Holley and Santa Margarita junior Alahnna Thomas were in a virtual tie early in the race, but Holley found an impressive surge just past the midway point of the race to pull away from Thomas, and she maintained her advantage to the finish line in a winning time of 17:45.2. Sophomore Hutton Nelligan was also a top five finisher, crossing the finish line in fourth place with a time of 18:33.1. Senior Taye Newman made his season debut for the Lions a successful one in the boys’ race, as he kicked into second place in the second mile and held that position to the finishing line, crossing in a time of 15:40.8.
