The Freshman Lions played error-free baseball on Saturday but came up just short against St. John Bosco, falling to the Braves 3-2. Tristan Ylagan had a solid performance on the mound for the Lions, allowing six hits and three runs over five innings. Josh Thomas threw one scoreless inning in relief out of the bullpen. The Lions trailed 3-0 after the 6th inning but rallied in the top of the 7th to load the bases...then, Joon Lee hit a clutch bloop single to shallow center field, driving in two runs.
