The JSerra Boys Lacrosse team pushed its season-long winning streak to eight in a row Friday evening, as the Lions knocked off Poway High, 11-7, in a nonleague contest at JSerra Catholic High School. The Lions and Titans were tied 2-2 at the end of the first period, but a 7-1 scoring advantage in the second period helped JSerra seize control of the game. Sophomore Cob Sprague led seven players who tallied goals in the game with three goals. Junior Gabriel Seldow and sophomore Asher Stevenson each added two goals. Sophomores Mason Stephens, Luke Bittner, and Douglas Lorimer, along with junior Sam Kofoed also found the back of the net for the Lions.
