The JSerra Boys Basketball team won its third consecutive Trinity League game Wednesday night, as the Lions pulled away from the Servite Friars in the second half to win 83-56 at Servite High.
JSerra improves to 18-3 overall and 3-2 in Trinity League play.
The Lions trailed by seven early in the second quarter, but closed the quarter with an 18-8 run to take a 37-34 lead at halftime.
JSerra pushed the lead to 11 points at the end of the third quarter, and then sealed the game with a 24-8 scoring advantage in the fourth quarter.
Senior Sebastian Rancik scored a team-high 24 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the field, including 4-of-5 from the three-point line.
Senior Aidan Fowler recorded a double-double with 17 points and 11 assists.
Freshman Godschoice Eboigbodin narrowly missed his third straight double-double, as he scored 12 points and grabbed a team-high nine rebounds.
