The JSerra Boys Soccer team battled Orange Lutheran down to the wire in a tight, physical affair on Friday evening, with the Lions and Lancers playing to a 0-0 tie in Trinity League action at Orange Lutheran High.
JSerra is now 6-1-7 overall and 1-1-6 in league.
It is the second time this season that the two league rivals have played to a draw.
JSerra’s best scoring chance of the first half came in the closing seconds, when a line drive shot by junior Kaden Kirsch was saved on a lunging dive by the Lancers goalie.
The Lions controlled possession throughout much of the second half, but was unable to put the ball into the back of the net.
