The JSerra Baseball team saw its’ four game winning streak come to an end on Tuesday evening, as the Lions fell to Oaks Christian, 6-0, in their opening game of the Boras Baseball Classic at JSerra Catholic High School.
The Lions are now 8-6-1 on the season.
Oaks Christian broke a scoreless tie through the first three innings by scoring three runs in the top of the fourth inning.
The Lions added a single run in the fifth inning and two more runs in the seventh inning to close out the scoring.
JSerra senior catcher Charlie Caruso had a stellar game defensively behind the plate, as he set a school single game record by throwing out four attempted base stealers.
