The JSerra Girls Water Polo team closed out their nonleague schedule on Wednesday with a narrow 11-10 road loss to Schurr High.
The Lions are now 3-3 on the season.
Sophomore Sloane Paulson led JSerra with five goals.
Senior Zoe Gabriel added three goals, while sophomore Kamryn McCord scored twice.
The Lions will be back in action Thursday afternoon, as they open Trinity League play with a home game against Orange Lutheran.
