The JSerra Girls Water Polo team put up a solid effort, but a strong second half by Laguna Beach resulted in a 15-8 win over the Lions in nonleague action on Thursday night.
Senior Zoe Gabriel scored four goals for the Lions, while sophomore Sloane Paulsen scored three goals.
