The JSerra Girls Flag Football team continued its’ hot start to the season on Wednesday, as the Lions shutdown the Millikan Rams, 26-0, in a nonleague game at Millikan High in Long Beach.
JSerra now improves to 3-0 on the season.
Sophomore Kai Beary hauled in touchdown receptions of 35 yards and six yards, while also recording an interception.
Fellow sophomore Stella Day added a 53-yard rushing touchdown, while senior Molly Harrington added a four-yard touchdown reception.
Freshman quarterback Ava Van Heerde connected on 17-of-31 passes for 203 yards and two touchdowns.
