The Freshman Lions baseball bats explode as they rack up 34 hits, score 33 runs, and win three games during Spring Break. The team beat the San Clemente Tritons 8-6 this past Saturday. Tristan Ylagan had another solid performance on the bump for the Lions, scattering six hits and three runs over five innings; Troy Winningham earned the save. Luca Laurence laid down a key bunt (with a 2 strike count) in the sixth inning to help the Lions advance the winning run. The freshmen improved their overall record to 9-8 on the season.
