Girls Flag Football Program (2024 - 2025)

The JSerra Girls Flag Football team kicked off the 2024 campaign in victorious fashion on Wednesday evening, as the Lions dispatched Santiago, 28-7 in a nonleague game at Santiago High in Corona. Defense keyed the victory for the Lions (1-0), as they produced six interceptions. Senior Shea Gonzalez was the lead catalyst on both sides of the ball, as she picked off three passes and hauled in two receiving touchdowns. Freshman quarterback Ava Van Heerde completed 20 of 43 for 220 yards and four touchdowns. Senior Seylah Childress (29 yards receiving, 37 yards rushing) and sophomore Stella Day (team-high five receptions for 45 yards) each added a receiving touchdown. Day, sophomore Dylan Sakayan, and freshman Vivian Beary each added an interception.
