The JSerra Baseball team dropped their series-opening game to the Santa Margarita Eagles, 6-0, Tuesday in Trinity League action at JSerra Catholic High School.
JSerra is now 11-7-1 on the season and 4-3 in Trinity League play.
The Eagles broke up a scoreless tie with a run in the third inning before adding five runs combined in the fifth and sixth innings to put the game away.
Junior Jordan Marian and sophomore Blake Bowen each went 1-for-3, collecting the only two hits of the game for the Lions.
