Boys Varsity Soccer (2023 - 2024) Team Record (9 - 2 - 7, 4 - 2 - 6)

The JSerra Boys Soccer team battled the visiting Santa Margarita Eagles to a 2-2 draw in Trinity League action Friday evening at JSerra High. The Lions trailed 1-0 after an Eagles penalty kick goal in the 10th minute, but in the 38th minute, junior Jake Tatch sent a well-placed crosser over to sophomore Cameron Shafizadeh who knocked a shot into the near post corner of the goal to tie the match 1-1. Santa Margarita re-captured the lead in the 54th minute, but the Lions found the equalizer with regulation winding down. In the 75th minute, junior Gavin Allegaert chipped a shot over the Eagles goalie and into the back of the net. JSerra is now 6-1-3 on the season and 1-1-2 in Trinity League play.
