The JSerra Girls Basketball team resumed their victorious ways on Wednesday, as the Lions dispatched South Gate 67-21 in the opening game of the 2023 Lady Pirate Holiday Classic at San Pedro High.
The victory improves JSerra's record to 11-1 on the season.
Freshman Addie Nolan led a balanced attack for the Lions by scoring a team-best 16 points and grabbing nine rebounds.
Junior Lindsay Tshibuyanga-Tambwe added 14 points and five rebounds.
Freshman Shae Talleur chipped in with 12 points.
Freshman Rosie Santos scored 10 points and added a game-high nine steals to go along with seven assists.
