The JSerra Girls Lacrosse team began their season on a victorious note, as the Lions rolled to a 17-2 road victory over the Tesoro Titans in a nonleague game on Monday evening at Tesoro High.
The Lions (1-0) were in control from the outset, opening the game by scoring eight goals in the first quarter and leading 12-1 at halftime.
Sophomore Kate Berkus scored a team-high four goals, while senior Maggie Bobo and sophomore Addison Berg each scored three goals.
Senior Olivia Leddy and junior Evelyn Devir scored two goals apiece.
Senior Caitlin Quinn, junior Lily Peguero, and freshman Dylan Sakayan each tallied a goal.
