The JSerra Girls Basketball team made it two straight wins to open the El Toro Thanksgiving Classic, as the Lions knocked off the Beckman Patriots 63-50 on Tuesday at El Toro High School in Lake Forest.
JSerra is now 5-1 on the season.
Behind nine points from sophomore Vivian Grenald, the Lions led 20-16 after the first quarter.
Back-to-back three pointers from sophomores Eden Hoff and Shae Talleur, along with a lay-up by sophomore Rosie Santos to open the second quarter pushed the Lions' advantage up to 12 points.

JSerra seized definitive control of the game in third quarter.
The Lions opened the quarter on a 12-0 run and the lead surged as high as 24 points behind a strong defensive effort that yielded only four points in the quarter.
Talleur finished with a team-high 20 points on 6-of-10 from the field and 4-of-7 from the three-point line.
