The JSerra Girls Lacrosse team put an emphatic end to a three-game losing streak with a 16-2 triumph over the Rosary Royals in their Trinity League finale on Wednesday at Hydraflow Field in Fullerton.
The Lions improved to 11-8 on the season and evened their league record at 2-2.
JSerra put the game away in the first half, as they scored five goals in both the first and second periods, (culminating in a buzzer beating goal from freshman Dylan Sakayan) to lead 10-2 at halftime.
Sophomore Addison Berg scored three of her team-high four goals in the first half to help pace the offense.
Sophomore Kate Berkus added three goals, while junior Evelyn Devir scored twice.
Seniors Dorina Marquis, Olivia Leddy, and Meagan Jennings, along with juniors Lily Peguero, Seylah Childress, and Kendall Kappel all added a goal.
