A strong second half fueled the JSerra Boys Basketball team to another impressive victory on Wednesday, as the Lions opened their run in the National Division Bracket at the Torrey Pines Holiday Classic with a 72-45 victory over the host Falcons at Torrey Pines High.
JSerra improves to 13-0 on the season, with 12 of those victories coming by 13 points or more.
Senior Aidan Fowler scored a team-high 18 points, connecting on 7-of-11 shots from the field.
Senior Ben Rabara added 16 points on 6-of-8 from the field, including 4-of-6 from the three-point line.
Senior Diego Martinez chipped in with eight points and a team-best eight assists.
The Lions defense held Torrey Pines to 34 percent shooting in the game.
