About Me

My name is Garrett Akio Thompson, I live in Yorba Linda, I'm 16 years old, a sophomore at Yorba Linda High School and I have two younger siblings. I was given my middle name due to being quarter Asian. My mother is German and my father is half Japanese and half Caucasian. My passion has always been playing baseball. I've been playing since I was 4 years old. I love everything about baseball including the history of it. My family and baseball has shaped who I am today. l believe baseball and other sports teach you many life lessons. Such as teamwork, work ethics, commitment, patience, humility, living a healthy lifestyle and overcoming adversity.
