About Me

Head coach for the boys and girls soccer programs at Tonganoxie High School. This is my 8th Year with the Tonganoxie High School Soccer Program. I grew up playing soccer. I played for Maranatha Christian Academy and was part of the 3rd and 4th state teams in 2005 & 2006. I played collegiately at Point University in Georgia. My freshman year as a goalkeeper i set the school records for shutouts in a season. Due to a knee injury i turned my focus to coaching after my year of playing soccer in college. I have coached for 14 years now. I started my club coaching at Blue Moose Soccer Club and during the merger with the Athletics Soccer Club. During this time i took over as the head coach at Maranatha Christian. I coached their boys team 2 years before taking over the boys program here at Tonganoxie. I also coached the girls program there for 5 years, breaking the school record for wins in a season each year i was there and also collecting the first regional championship in program history. I took over the boys program here in 2007. My first season we went undefeated in the regular season for the first time in school history. In my time here at Tonganoxie we have won 3 Regional Championships, placed 3rd at state, we have had a Scholar All-American in the program and a multitude of All-State Players. I have been selected for LJW All-Area Coach of the Year 3 times. We have a great program here at Tonganoxie and i love coaching our awesome students and also helping them as they discover who they are and learn what it is to be a responsible person as they move on after high school.
