About Me

Coach Briggs has coached tens of thousands of athletes over his 17 years of coaching. Briggs is the former head jumps coach at Mater Dei High School 2012-2019. Briggs is also the owner/creator of the LEAP Squad Youth Track Club and the LEAP Fest, a National Jumps only track and field showcase. Briggs competed over three years as a professional triple jumper and has been sharing his training tips and concepts over 11 years. In his tenure as a high school and club coach Briggs has developed 11 Orange County Individual Champions, 6 Individual CIF Champions, 8 CIF Runner-up finishers, 7 CA State qualifiers, 8 National qualifiers, and hundreds of athletes continuing their track and field career in college.
