About Me

I started track & field as a freshman and found I have potential in the 400m. I started on the freshman team, but eventually worked my way to varsity by the end of my first year. I was ranked the top freshman in Avocado East League and scored points at our league championships. As a sophomore I began experimenting with other events. I found that I could be a multi event athlete. I took third at the USATF Region 15 Combine Events Jr. Olympic Championship for the decathlon. At the end of my sophomore year my coach recommended to do cross country for training. I got my 3 mile time down to an 18:50. Through my junior year spring season I hope to medal at CIF-SD for the 4x400 and the 300mH. In the summer I will focus in on the decathlon. My ultimate goal is to become a prosthesis or an orthosis. In college I hope to major in kinesiology, as it will help me get into the required residencies. I hope to be able to score in multiple events, and represent my future college team well as I pursue dream of serving people through medicine.
