Hey hey Lions! Here is a recap from our meeting last night in case you missed it.
We have our 1st opportunity to show what we’ve got this Saturday! I have posted the info of our scrimmage on the schedule tab. Water, halftime and after game snacks will be provided to the players. Please make sure players are suited up by 1:30pm with all the safety equipment.
We will start collecting the snack bar and after game snack money next week. Any donations will also help!!We have snack bar duties closer to the end of September and will need volunteers for to help out. Since there hasn’t been a Lions team in over a few years we have more to raise than some other teams. We’re looking at $35 to stock up the snack bar and 25$ for halftime and end of the game snacks.
We will need to purchase game socks for the players both white and pink for our breast cancer awareness month of October.
This will be 6$ per player.
As we all know fundraising plays a role in our child’s sports. We are looking at fun and less complicated options for us to raise the funds for our boys to have the best season ever! As coach mentioned please save your recyclables! We will collect around the 2nd week of October so the more we collect the more flexibility and options we have on choosing a memorable end of the year gift And banquet for the boys!
Another fundraiser will be the scratcher ticket what you scratch off is what you donate variable amounts from free to 5$ cheap and fun for friends and family to help raise the funds!
Another way to raise funds is by getting a sponsors. If anyone knows of a sponsor that would like to be a part of our Lions exciting 2018 season feel free to ask! This is a huge plus and you’ll be covered from the fees needed for snacks and socks! Let me know and I can give you a form to give to them! It’s tax deductible and helps the team no not team family helps the family lots! So let me know!
