Norco High Fishing Club Fundraiser
I am excited to introduce Norco High School’s new Legacy period fishing class. This is a new course for NHS students that qualify and are interested in fishing. This course is student driven and when asked they all informed me that they wanted to focus on building rods, making lures and tying flies. This program will provide students with an engaging, hands-on learning experience that is both challenging and rewarding, while learning important life skills including planning, time management, responsibility, and character development. In addition, basic concepts of math, science, and design are employed in the process of rod building, and teach business applications such as marketing, inventory management, production, accounting, and more. We are reaching out to our families, friends and community to help with this exciting opportunity to enhance our students’ skills and knowledge of fishing! We thank you for your support!
