John Burroughs Cheerleading Fundraiser

Since becoming an official CIF sport back in 2017, the John Burroughs High School Cheerleading teams have finally made the return to official cheerleading competitions in California. Since competing again in 2021, JBHS Cheer has returned to the competition mat and done extremely well. We have practiced for up to 15 hours a week on top of attending school, completing homework, and participating in other extracurricular activities, all to ensure great competition seasons each year. We have several first place wins for both JV and Varsity divisions, as well as a recent 2024 CIF-SS Finalist placement in the Division 2 Co-Ed category at the CIF-SS/Ford Traditional Competitive Cheer Championships. However, our work does not end here. We would like to continue competing for many years to come, but that does come with large costs, such as competition fees, tumbling equipment, safety materials, choreographers, etc. For our upcoming season, we are asking for donations and sponsorships to help lower our team’s expenses. Your donation will support our athletes as they represent their team, school, and community at games, rallies, events, and competitions.
