Jackson County High School Speech and Debate Club High School Fundraiser

The Jackson County High School Speech and Debate Team is raising funds for our club! Donations will help fund our club and allow our members to have all they need to train, compete, and win!

About Us

We are the Panther Nation WORD WARRIORS! We are a first year Speech and Debate Club and the first one ever at Jackson County High School. We compete in the challenging Georgia Mountain District of the National Speech and Debate Association. Though a first year club, we have already had students place in competition. Our students can compete in any of 17 speech events and 7 debate events. Speech and Debate programs have proven to have a positive effect on the school and student, leading to higher attendance, higher test scores, higher self-esteem, and better analytical skills. We have a core group of passionate students and our goal is to grow Speech and Debate at JCHS to be a competitive force in our Georgia Mountain District and beyond. We are completely self-funded so any donations are greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support and Go Panthers!
