Hendrix deserves an honorable mention for his statline. He had the first offensive and defensive touchdowns of the game on a reception and a pick 6 putting his team up 12-0. Hendrix knows every position on both sides of the ball and plays all of them at a very high level.

Hendrix showed up to play and put his versatility on full display. He made his mark on the game scoring touchdowns by way of rushing, receiving, and defensively after intercepting the opposing offense and cashing it in for six points with no hesitation. "Barry" Hendrix is easily a fan favorite who has a nact for dazzling spectators with his shifty, elusive run style.

Hendrix came into today's game, chosen as captain, ready to take on a new QB role. Ryker Lesh made some plays early that got the offense rolling. A TD run by Liam Smith gave us the ability to keep working. Liam Vellanti and Liam Urbaniak made plays to get the team where we needed to be to walk away with the first win of the season. Hendrix's willingness to adapt and composure through the game's highs and lows along with the long first down on the game winning drive is why he's earned this MVP honor.

On a rain soaked day Hendrix seemed to be in his element with 2 TDs and a ton of pulled flags! Both of his TDs were long runs by making a lot of kids miss. Hendrix keeps getting better and better every game and seems like he is having a lot of fun. He is always smiling and wanting to learn more. He also was our QB in the second half and did a great job!

Hendrix was a beast on defense. Playing nose tackle you have to be aggressive when the QB hands the ball off and that he was. He made it so hard on the opposing team to get started and he did it the whole game! I moved him to cornerback at one point hoping to get some other kids a chance to pull flags and Hendrix was still beating kids to it. On offense he only had one chance to run the ball but he made it count scoring on a 2 point conversion. Great job Hendrix! Keep being aggressive.

Hendrix was awarded MVP of the first of our 2 games in today's doubleheader. Hendrix's defense made the winning difference in what was a very close game grabbing flag after flag from the nose position. He easily had the most exciting run of the day when he ran a sweep in the second game that he cut back multiple times, gaining positive yards before ultimately just barely getting his flag pulled at midfield.
