CBA jumps out in front early, then pulls away for a 7-1 road win

Burnt Hills, NY — Burnt Hills fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 7-1 loss to CBA on Saturday in the first game of a double header. CBA took the lead on a single in the 1st inning.
Burnt Hills struggled to contain the high-powered CBA offense, giving up 7 runs. CBA fired up that offense early, when Michael Palumbo singled on a 2-0 count, scoring a run. They added 4 more runs in the 3rd inning. Palumbo, Luke Szepek and Jackson Lilley all contributed to the big inning with RBIs.
CJ Kuentzel led CBA to victory on the hill. He surrendered 1 run on 2 hits over 5 innings, striking out 4. Will Baumann threw 2 innings in relief.
Ben Hladun took the loss for BH. The southpaw allowed 6 hits and 5 runs (3 earned) over 5 innings, striking out 7.
Luke Haluska and Nate DeLuke both added hits for Burnt Hills, with Haluska's being an RBI single.
