New Fairfield, CT — Newtown followed its bounce-back effort against Notre Dame with a 9-2 win at New Fairfield on May 3, and the Nighthawks improved to 7-4. Zach Kluger scattered seven hits in five strong innings, and Zander Kasbarian closed it out with two no-hit frames in which he struck out three. Petersen, Demers, and Luke Galer all knocked in two runs. Petersen and Demers both homered. Charlie Eppers had two hits, including a double, and one RBI.
