Easton, PA — Easton Area Red Rovers Varsity Can't Catch Up To Parkland
Easton watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in an 11-0 loss to Parkland on Friday. Parkland took the lead on a stolen base in the first inning.
The Rovers struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Parkland, giving up 11 runs.
One bright spot for Easton was a single by Keegan Stem in the first inning.
Ratliff got the start for Parkland. The bulldog surrendered zero runs on two hits over four and a third innings, striking out three.
Dante Mack was on the hill for Easton Area Red Rovers Varsity. The righty surrendered six runs on five hits over two and a third innings, striking out four. Trevor Silvius and Cole Transue entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two and a third innings and one-third of an inning respectively.
Stem and Braydon Hubbard each collected one hit to lead Easton.
Bo and Blake Barthol collected three hits each for Parkland.
