After playing together vs Rosary before spring break, Natalie insisted on teaming up this afternoon with Anna Solovjev again and they came within a tie-breaker of winning all 3 sets. Well played ladies.

Anna and Natalie Walters had a superb afternoon, almost knocking off OLu’s strong #1 team. Easily winning their other 2 sets, Anna and Natalie continue to improve as we enter the 2nd round of Trinity League competition on Thursday vs Mater Dei.

OLu’s coaches put their stronger singles player at the #2 spot, which gave Rosalia the chance to “warm-up” beating the other girl before facing their best player - whom she destroyed 6-1. After beating who she thought was our top 2 players (Sophia G and Julia H), OLu’s #1 player was shocked and awed as Rosalia literally pounded outright winners into the corners fir a quick, convincing win. Best aggressive tennis of the season by Rosalia this afternoon, well played.
