San Juan Capistrano, CA — Playing at home today helped in the "unknown realm" as, that was about the only thing the girls knew for certain. A scouting report from last years' match[es] helped, but, not entirely as OLu moves their line and lineup around. We guessed well. Our doubles captured 7 of 18 points and singles added the additional 4. Sophomores Sophia Moncur with Elise Early were the MVP's today with the hat trick as our other doubles teams could not upset the Lancers line #1 duo. Two Liv's played great today! ... picking up sets at line #2 and #3 as did Victoria and Gabbi. Senior Kaley Houshmand quickly disposed of line #2 and #3 singles foes, barely coming up short in a hard-fought dual at line #1 in round 3. Anna Ciraci and Kylie Davidson both defeated OLu's line #3 singles player... This is a pretty strong lineup, one the Lions have not used, but, may revisit.. Next up, @ MAter Dei Thursday! Go Lions!
