Anaheim, CA — Canyon started the game with a quick goal in the first few minutes. Makena Oliva passed to Carly Cross who took the ball to the net. El Dorado turned up the pressure on Canyon's defense and goalie Mia Santos had some tremendous saves to keep the score at half time, Canyon 1- El Dorado 0. In the second half El Dorado's pressure continued and second half keeper Elizabeth Reichert kept up the saves. The game was tied by El Dorado with a goal that ricocheted off the top bar. The referees determined it was a goal tying the game 1-1. The second goal for Canyon came from a corner kick from Cross and a header by Natalie Darling, putting Canyon back on top 2-1. The final goal of the game was from El Dorado which tied the game 2-2. A well played match by all.
