Goddard, KS — Goddard Lions JV took their game in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off single at the end of the game to topple Eisenhower. The game was tied at five with Goddard Lions JV batting in the bottom of the fifth when Nick Rogers singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Goddard Lions JV earned the victory despite allowing Eisenhower to score five runs in the first inning. The offensive onslaught by Eisenhower was led by George, Grimes, and Douglass, all driving in runs in the frame.
