Goddard, KS — Goddard Lions Varsity defeated Wellington 10-0 on Thursday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Lake Hamilton induced a groundout from Hinshaw to finish off the game.
Goddard Lions Varsity got things moving in the first inning, when Hamilton doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.
Goddard Lions Varsity notched four runs in the fourth inning. The offensive onslaught by Goddard Lions Varsity was led by Braydon Wickliffe, Mason Lubbers, and Jaden Wiley, all driving in runs in the frame.
