Fairfield, CA — Vanden Vikings Varsity Claims Lead In Sixth Inning To Defeat Vacaville
Vanden Vikings Varsity took the lead late in the game in a 9-8 victory over Vacaville on Tuesday. The game was tied at eight with Vanden Vikings Varsity batting in the bottom of the sixth when Isaac Zaldivar tripled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
Both offenses were strong at the plate as Vanden Vikings Varsity collected 11 hits and Vacaville eight in the high-scoring affair
