Escondido, CA — Four hits from Paige Dimler helped lead RBV Longhorns past Chaparral 20-6 on Wednesday. Paige homered in the first, singled in the second, singled in the third, and homered in the fourth, a deep shot that carried to the hockey rink building in CF. The RBV Longhorns earned the victory despite allowing Chaparral to score four runs in the fourth inning. PlayerE and PlayerI each drove in runs during the inning. RBV Longhorns got things started in the first inning. RBV Longhorns scored three runs when Janae Combs homered. Ava Bradford earned the victory in the circle for RBV Longhorns. She allowed seven hits and six runs over four innings, striking out two and walking zero. Ava pitched a complete game and was very effective in the circle for RBV. S. Ruvalcaba took the loss for Chaparral. She surrendered 11 runs on ten hits over two innings, striking out one. RBV Longhorns socked three home runs on the day. Dimler had a four bagger in the first and fourth innings. Janae Combs had a homer in the first inning. RBV Longhorns tallied 24 hits on the day. Dimler, Combs, DeeDee Herrmann, Savannah Coyle, Bradford, Bella Tamayo, Lily Vivian, and Sam Nielsen all managed multiple hits for the RBV Longhorns. Combs and Dimler each collected four hits to lead RBV Longhorns. RBV Longhorns stole seven bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Bella Rocha led the way with two.
