Whittier, CA — Santa Fe defeated league rival Cal Hi today by a score of 3-1. Cal Hi struck first, against the run of play, with a nice volleyed finish from a partial clearance. Sean Romo equalized with a strong move and pace to beat his marker and then slotted home with a tidy shot. The game was back and forth for most of the game until late in regular time Rafael Gonzalez headed home a corner kick at at that back post to break the deadlock. Shortly after, Romo iced the game with beautifully taken volley of his own.
